To limit the spread of Coronavirus Covid-19 all requests for a GP or Practice Nurse appointment will be triaged by a GP/Practice Nurse until further notice.
Even if you feel well please DO NOT come to the Practice to book an appointment, we are reducing the footfall into the Surgery to protect you, our staff and families. Please contact us by telephone.
All routine work has been stopped.
When calling please give the receptionist as much information as possible and one of our GPs will call you back or offer a video consultation. The receptionists are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as our clinical staff and are only asking for this information to help the Doctors and to ensure you are called back as soon as necessary.
The latest government guidance is for anyone showing symptoms to self-isolate for 14 days together with those living in the same household or 7 days if you live alone. If you are unable to manage your symptoms do not come into the Practice. You should visit or if necessary call 111.
Please be aware that our Dispensary phone line is extremely busy, please keep trying on 01522 789307 and do not ring the main reception number as this blocks up the main line.
Thank you for your support at this challenging time. We appreciate the difficulties that this causes but need to continue to keep our Doctors available for the sickest people in our community and this will only happen with your help. Thanks go out to ALL the surgery staff who are working in extremely demanding and challenging times but always with a smile.
I would like to make a special mention to all the village volunteers who are helping with delivering medications, thank you all so much. Tracey and Michael at Greens Stores in Bassingham and Dee the Vicar are doing a tremendous job and we are all very grateful. The whole community is coming together like never before and it is enriching to know that we all live in such a positive, supportive and helpful community.
