Greenbank FC donate £3000 to lifesaving charity

Greenbank FC are pleased to share the news they’ve made a donation of £3000 to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
With the season cut short in March, Greenbank FC offered all its players a part refund, with the opportunity to donate it to the Charity if they wished. After collating the responses, 171 parents opted to donate their refund, which has made up the £3000 total.
Every year, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance responds to around 1,000 of the most serious, time-critical and life-threatening 999 calls across the two counties.  The charity receives no direct Government funding, relying solely on the generous donations of people within local communities.

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is a charity close to Greenbank FC hearts, with a former player and a NK Academy student (where the club play and train) both involved in an accident outside the school in 2019. The crew were called to attend and airlifted them both to hospital.
After this, the club wanted to do their bit, and were planning for their annual dinner to raise funds for the Air Ambulance in July. Unfortunately, this was cancelled early in April, and the decision was made to offer parents the opportunity to donate their refund instead.

This was really well received by parents and we’re delighted to make this donation to show our members support for the Air Ambulance.
Greenbank are a football club for boys and girls aged 4 - 16 who are based at One NK, Moor Lane, North Hykeham. To find out more please visit or via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
