Singing it Loud Together (Online)!
Singers from a group of community choirs are still managing to sing together during the COVID19 pandemic. Members of Nettleham Community Choir, Sing Out Louth, Birchwood Sings, Horncastle Community Choir, Hykeham Community Choir, and Sing it Loud Woodhall Spa have come together virtually during this period of uncertainty and lockdown and are singing online together each week. Liz McIntosh, who runs the choirs has moved to offering a range of singing opportunities for her singers to keep them all connected and singing. Using YouTube and Zoom, Liz is keeping in touch with her singers to sing the songs that we know and love, as well as learning new songs and having more of a challenge. More importantly, singers are able to feel part of their singing community and keep in contact with their friends. All of the singers also get an opportunity to record a song together. Some singers have found this a really valuable lifeline during this difficult time, particularly to those who live on their own, and helps people feel connected with their singing friends.
