Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council has issued the following statement:
“The Parish Council recognises and agrees that no business, meeting, service provision or service delivery of the Authority is of any importance above that of public and personal safety.  As such, all scheduled public meetings will be cancelled for an initial 4 month period (or as circumstances dictate)”
Whilst public meetings are cancelled, please be assured the Parish Council has put measures in place to ensure minimal disruption or interruption to service delivery within the community and staff cover will remain in place as necessary or until any national legislation or instruction dictates otherwise.
The Parish Council can be contacted on the number shown below but are unable to answer specific questions in relation to or on behalf of other local Authorities, health care providers or individual businesses with the parish.
Over the coming weeks, local self-help will be of paramount importance, and as such the Parish Council will endeavour to work with other organisations and to support self-help and volunteers within the community.  Should you wish to offer your help or support, please contact the Parish Council via telephone 01507 581101 or email:

There are new waste collection days for all households in Tattershall and Tattershall Thorpe - you should have had a calendar through the post from ELDC outlining the changes in days which will take effect from 6th April 2020.

Changes to Waste Collection Rounds
From April 6, 2020 the waste collection rounds for the majority of East Lindsey households will change.
For residents that are affected, a letter will be sent to you directly with your new collection calendar on the back. If you haven't received a letter, there is no change.
The new calendars will be available to view online from March 11.
The current routes we use to collect your refuse and recycling were introduced in 2013, and due to the increasing number of properties we collect from, we have needed to revise the collection arrangements. This ensures that we are collecting refuse and recycling as efficiently as possible. Please continue to present your bin for 5:30am on your scheduled collection day as there will be a change in the time we arrive at your house.
Introducing the new routes will impact on some properties during April. This means some people will receive collections closer together and some further apart. Please bear with us and we will support you during this time.
If you know of someone who doesn't have relatives or friends to support them, help them with shopping or generally check on them please pass on their details, in confidence, or ask them to contact the Lions or Revd Sue Allison.
